Career Opportunities

If you are interested in a career in television, visual or graphic arts, education, nonprofit or other media, working at BNN-as an employee, intern or volunteer-is an excellent way to gain valued experience. As an esteemed nonprofit organization and the recipient of numerous awards, BNN looks great on your resume.

Even if you aren't looking to begin or enhance your career in media arts, volunteering at BNN can be a very fulfilling experience. Your assistance enables us to provide the affordable, top-notch training and expertise that many in Boston's underserved communities would otherwise not receive.

INTERNSHIPS

All internships are unpaid, but qualify for college credit. Daytime and evening hours are available. Internships often lead to entry-level employment positions. There are currently several opportunities for internships at BNN:

Neighborhood Network News invites interns and volunteers who are studying journalism (or a related field) to work on the program. The program also welcomes freelance reporters developing a career in TV news, as well as community people with a strong interest in local news who would like to contribute to the program as correspondents.
